For Mrs. Mac And Her Little Gift, Nathan

Yesterday we received our first snow fall of the year and I must admit, even to Mrs. Mac that is was just lovely!

As I drove down the lane way to work, I just had to exclaim over the loveliness of the peaceful scene.

As I sit here this first day of another week, the chorus to the song, "Whiter Than the Snow", has been playing in my heart,

"Whiter than the snow!
Whiter than the snow!
Wash me in the Blood of the Lamb,
And I shall be whiter than snow!"

Isaiah 1:18...."Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

What a way to start the Lord's day!!

Wishing everyone of you a Blessed Lord's Day...........Love Terry

I love your post and pictures today. You ARE showing your Pollyanna spirit after all with even some of the Good Lord's scripture to attest that white snow can be beautiful :) My heart is singing dear friend. P.S. the gift likes snow as long as there's no wind along with it.

Miss Terry,

What beauty you've captured...once again. I find myself looking at each picture and trying to decide which one is my favorite. I don't think I can choose.

The simple beauty in the bare, white surroundings is breathtaking and draws one in. It also...beckons the imagination.

Blessings dear one.

Hi Terry! I remember when I was growing up, there was a poster of a white sheep in one of the Sunday School rooms with Isaiah 1:18 written across the wool.
The pictures are, as always, beautiful! It's been snowing a little bit on and off for the past few weeks, but then today I woke up and there was snow everywhere! It's been falling all day- great big flakes. Even though I much prefer the spring and summer, I have to admit that it's beautiful. Now, if only the icy road conditions and unpaved paths would clear up, then we could enjoy God's creation instead of sitting inside!
