Thank you for your prayers....

I just thought I had better write a wee note to all of you dear people that are praying for Betty. I am so sorry that I haven't been able to do much comments on all of your blogs. You are such precious friends.
Betty is STILL waiting in the hospital to go for her test in Hamilton, although she is feeling much better. Monday is Thanksgiving day here in Canada, so now she is looking to maybe Tuesday to go. She has no high temperature and her blood is thicker, so now she will be ready for the test.
Her husband, John is now in the hospital too as of last night with panceaitis[not sure of the spelling]
I am on my way to work but thought I would touch base with everyone and I will try and write tonight .Thanks so much....Love Terry

Betty Is Not Afraid

Betty was unable to go to Hamilton on Tuesday for her angiogram test as she had a temperture.
She is going today at 830am.
Rachel and I will follow her by car and be there when she has the test at noon.
If all goes well, she will be discharged but if she needs an operation, it will be done, and possibly Betty will remain in the hospital.
I thank everyone for their prayers on Betty's behalf.
Here in these pictures, you can see Betty reading all your comments and she was thoroughly enjoying them. One BIG "Greeting Card"!!
Her fear of the test is gone and she seemed so peaceful about everything this evening when Bernie and I were visiting her. It is no doubt because of so many prayers that have been going up for her, that she is in this condition, and I want to thank you one and all....
I will keep you updated, although it might not be until tomorrow as I am not only working my own shifts at Katy's but Betty's as well!!!

Praying For Betty

Tonight I borrowed this picture from David Fisher's blog site[], who himself had borrowed it from my friend Saija..."Thro'a glass darkly" []

I wanted to put this verse up here because Betty is having fears about going to Hamilton tomorrow for her angiogram and I am praying that the Lord will give her peace just when she needs it.

I am going to print out this posting and the posting before this with all the beautiful comments of all the people who are praying for her.
I will put it into an envelope and when she opens it, it will be a really nice "Get Well" card for her.

Thanking you all again for all your prayers..

Thanks David Fisher and Saija for the lovely verse!!....Love Terry

Please Pray For Betty

Today has been a little sad for me.
Betty was working at Katy's today and called me frantically at five thirty to ask me, if I could finish her shift as she, Betty was having chest pains.
I rushed to her, of course and her son John drove down with his father and they took Betty to the hospital.
The doctor found that Betty has had a heart attack and they have put her into intensive care.
I just wanted to ask you, my dear blog friends to pray for her.
She is my older sister and has always been there for our whole family.
She IS a Christian, but we sure do want to have her around for a whole long time yet!!
Thank you so much!......Love Terry
