last week, at this time spring was in the air and bernie and i and the little red car were spotting robins all over the place..of course the grass is still a dull green but never-the-less, robins have returned from their long trip from florida and so that surely means it is spring, eh?


well, just this wednesday morning, southern ontario awoke to see that the idaho snow queen, who SHOULD have be changing into her spring finery and getting ready for her reign of idaho lilac princess, had dumped a huge pile of snow!! all over the place!..NOT nice!


that bernie fellow had to get out and do some clearing of snow from the little red car...and here he is retired for a year, and still having to work so hard and the little red car was just shivering!..NOT nice!


well, i was cold and shivering too inside our little white house but little did i know that mom ljung was sending me, all the way from norway, a warm gift....a homemade gift! and a lovely post card...so nice!



for sure and felisol's dear mom did come to the rescue.

and i must thank you so much dear norwegian lady who is serina's beloved gramma and kel and felisol's dearest mom and gunnar's sweet mother- in- law!

you sent those stockings right in the nick of time, because even though bernie DID clean off the little red car, the roads were so bad, we did not venture out, but stayed snowed in, inside our little white house!

it was last friday that mom and dad golden received this lovely post card from felisol and it made them so happy!...i saved it for ruby tuesday because there are so many tints of red in both the front and...


the back!..the stamp with the glorious flag is so nice!
better still though my heart was made very happy when i read the message that dad's "norway"wrote to mom and dad golden...i do not have enough words of thanks to her. my bestest friend!

these guys tried to fly into canada with mr. jims's magic carpet but unfortunately they were stopped at the canadian border!
no passports except... for captain adi, mr. jim's granddaughter...they were turned back and adi was going to return them all home...aunt amrita's sheeba, aunt crown of beauty's sammy and patches, aunt deb's bentley, mr. jim's katrin and amber, grandpaw ron's princess, aunt felisol's silk kitty AND her five babies, and the DAWG!
happily though. dear nathan they DID leave you a birthday song and here it is!!


sorry the doggie quartet got the name wrong, nathan but what can you expect from hired help?
i will get mr.jim over here to do it right!
