John 3:16 Boy..Cole

Update on ColeAugust2,2008
First of all let me say thank you to everyone! Second I did not know my son posted that little paragraph about me, his mom. Everyday I learn more about his heart…and it truly makes me proud. Now as most of you know we had to go back to Atlanta (to the childrens hospital) on Thursday, when we got there we were all a little fatigued and nervous, we went to the back and waited just a few short minutes and the nurse came in to make any note changes for anything that may have changed and unfortunately the only thing that had changed was the fact that he almost passes out everytime he stands and starts to walk, this has gotten more frequent. Well one of the doctors came in and of course I was looking for any sense of relief or high spirits and she did not give me any so automatically I knew what she was going to say. She had some paperwork I needed to sign and that they had a couple of the test back and she would review them with me well Cole is sitting over there quiet as always never says anything. Well she waits for the second doctor to come in and them two are going to review the test with us and what they need to do to help Cole. They tell us that they have gotten part of the test back, one was the biopsy of the liver and the other was the biopsy of his stomach. The stomach first she told me was follicular hyperplasia which meant some abnormal cells and inflammation with duodenitis, which was the same thing, and that he has mesenteric adenitis which is causing the large lymph nodes in his abdomen. Then she says and his liver, well it is not so good, we can not do anything to fix it with medicine, therapy, so I knew that meant liver transplant and I could not stand the thought of possibly losing my child. After discussing this she went on to physically check him and while she was assessing him she realized she could not palpate (feel) his liver, this was a change so she ran some blood work and when it came back she came in there to tell me that they were PERFECT! His liver function was 100%, enzymes were normal. She said she does not understand this well I told her I do that it was God he healed my baby, he took that diseased liver and healed it. He knew I could not bare anything else…So then they started addressing the dizziness and vomiting and such and realized that there may be a tumor or something in his brain that may be causing pressure so we have to have a CT scan and check out his vagal nerve and all. He had also grown 3 inches in 2 weeks and that is cause for concern I guess, so we have to monitor his growth hormone and nothing will be done unless he reaches 7 feet, they said. I believe that God has something great in store for my little man, Cole has said before that he loves football and wants to make that his career but he also wants to be a Preacher and I think that may be what he has in store for him, because he has endured so many obstacles and I believe God wants to use him to his benefit to help and reach others. I can only say that because of each one of you this has been made possible and I am sure that God is up there smiling down because this precious little boy has brought the world together and I am sure that is his plan. Thank you all for praying for my Cole, and for my family. You will never know how much it means to me. I am going through so much right now that no one even knows the half of it, but just knowing that there are a world of people so great as yourselves that lift my family up means the world to me.

With lots of love and may God bless each of you,

Leslie (Cole’s mom)

Happy Birthday To You

Mr. and Mrs. Jim wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday so they sent Adi over in a hot weather balloon to tell you. You see Adi has lost her airplane license because of arthritis and therefore her only means of flight is by balloon. She insisted on stopping by RRBJ's to pick up her side kick, Princess with promises that they would only be travelling the U S of A and not be venturing into Canada![for some strange reason that Princess just doesn't trust Canada anymore!]

This cameo is you Jel..Not only are you everybody's sunshine, you are also everybody's sweetheart with your fly by hugs and your spreading of sun rays all over the blog world forgetting nobody on your travels.

I am sending you this special card by cyber space Jel just to let you know that Bernie and I are wishing you a very Happy Happy Day. I just hope that Adi's Grandpaw and Princess's Daddy and everybody else whose lives you have touched will be around for the celebration!!!!!
Love Bernie and Terry

For Miss Patty And Her Family

Last week Grampa Yade who is a great Sunday School story teller told us a great one in the evening gospel service
Keep in mind that every week Grampa Yade has little bags of candy that he makes up for the little kids and he hands them out to them afterwards.
Last week was different. It was Grampa's turn to preach.
He showed us a big plastic bag that he had brought with him and he took something out of it.
"See children. Here is a beautiful sea shell and I am going to give you each one at the door after the meeting. They are all different sizes and different colors.
Now what you see here is just what it is called..It is just a shell!
There used to be a living creature in this shell and now it is gone.
Just like the soul of a person. When a person dies, their soul is gone and the body they leave is just a shell. That soul will either go to heaven or hell. That is why it is very very important children that you are ready when death comes. Death comes at any age! You must have a clean heart. There is no sin allowed in heaven

"The blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin."
When your heart is cleansed with the precious blood of Jesus, your soul will be ready for heaven and the shell that you leave behind will some day be reunited with your soul and spirit when the Lord comes to take us Home..FOREVER!"

Now as I listened to this, I could not help but think of Miss Patty and her family as they were bidding their dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Gramma so long.
Gramma T has left a beautiful shell behind but she is in heaven now and soon we shall all be there [ whoever has trusted the Lord].
We will all meet her in the morning!

Dearest T family you are ever in our thoughts and prayers!......Love Bernie and Terry

Prayer Request From Cole

Hello everyone!July28,2008
I know you are all praying for me but I have one more request could you please take a minute and pray for my momma too she is sick now, I think it is from stress she has all these bumps and itches and went to the doctor and they gave her some medicine but she is really needing prayer right now, she worries all the time and she still cries alot about my granny so I know that she is upset about that too. from Cole

I have put also on this post words that Cole has written about his granny. Precious words they are indeed!....Terry

GrannyJuly25,2007
Today is already starting to be a rough one, I know that my granny is in heaven but I wish I could see her again. We get up sometimes in the morning and I think about her alot but on some mornings it is so hurried that I really do not think alot about it. My granny used to let me stay with her and take me places. I always remember her telling me I could stay with her and we would go swimming. She also let me rent games and she would watch me play them. My granny was fun, she was not like her age she acted younger. I really miss her today. I have to ask God to help me through today so that I can look for tomorrow.

A Week Before Her Journey!July30,2007
In my previous post I mentioned how much I missed my Granny ! This is one of my favorite pictures that I cherish !
This photo was taken one week before she made her journey to be with our lord ? She died with a brain tumor that was cancerous and it had spread to her lungs ?
All of Granny’s life she always said that she didn’t want to suffer for a long period of time , I believe that God heard her request because she was diagnosed the last of January and We laid her to rest the last of May !
I thank my Sunday School teachers and Bro. Gordon for thier prayers , love , and concern .
Thanks everyone for your time to listen because I needed to share this part of my life !
With Love ,
Cole.
