Happy Birthday Greetings Going Out To Manitoba

today is saija's birthday.
she shares the same birthday with mom golden.
i thought i would put her pictures in first.
bernie and i will be taking mom golden out tomorrow for her birthday and we will take some pictures of her.
in this photo here, you see saija's whole family.. leo, her sweetheart and indie the kitty.

saija is standing bare feet beside this yellow field..
actually i have just cloned her and leo and indie into a couple of pictures that i took seven months ago when the little red car took bernie and i to my beloved mantioba.
hopefully this year we will be visiting saija, leo and indie...i want to get my arms around that cute black kitty!
once again saiji....have a happy, happy birthday and and may the lord bless you and leo and your dear sister, maria! bernie and terry who are catless in southern ontario.

Thank You Kathy And Amrita!

today, i met a new friend in blogger land and her name is kathy.
she had such a nice valentine post with hearts that were glittering and i have never had luck in learning how to put these on my blogs.
oh amrita tried so hard to teach me and i just couldn't get it!
a couple of times i gave amrita my secret numbers to my blog and she would kindly take the time to download me an image but i couldn't be bothering her all of the time.
kathy sent me the secret remedy and so this "thank you" is my first glittering image and it is for her and for amrita!..
i am so excited about this!!!!....thank you terry

Happy Ruby Tuesday..A Day After Family Day

it was an ontario holiday today, as the citizens celebrated family was a quiet day for bernie and i and so i decided to make my ruby tuesday post with several family pictures. it seems that almost every few weeks or so, the goldens are celebrating family day!..yes love and god keeps our family together and so does the computers and our cameras and all of the feasts that my niece, rachel and my nephew, little john make for us!

Family Day is observed in the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan on the third Monday of February. This holiday celebrates the importance of families and family life to people and their communities.
What do people do?
On Family Day, many people plan and take part in activities aimed at the whole family. These include visiting art exhibitions, watching movies, skating on outdoor ice rinks, playing board games and taking part in craft activities. Some communities plan special public events, and art galleries and museums may have reduced price or free entry.

As the weather is usually very cold in February, hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies are popular snacks. Other people use the long weekend as an opportunity for a short winter break or to travel to visit family members or friends. As Family Day falls on the same date as National Heritage Day, some people use the day to explore their personal heritage and family history.

happy ruby tuesday everyone and may god bless you all! terry
