For Miss Patty

i was just over to see miss patty http://livingongrace.blogspot.com/ and my heart was so moved at her post.
she is so longing to see the statue of liberty one of these days.
I thought of this song and although the statue of liberty isn't really mentioned, LIBERTY is!
i hope that you like this miss patty.
what i love most about this video is seeing the americans putting their hands right over their hearts.
such respect and love they have for their grand old flag and their god blessed country!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

love terry

God Bless America!

to all our american friends, bernie and i wish a happy fourth of july and we are happy that not only are we neighbors, we are friends;
god bless your brave troops, your country and your president who we pray for....love bernie and terry

Ruby Tuesday A Day Before Canada Day

http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com

Check Spellingtoday is ruby tuesday and tomorrow is canada day so what is a person to do?
even though the flags should already be flying and people should be celebrating, bernie and i and the little red car found only these few flags!
here the little red car wedged its way in beside a ruby red van that was displaying a canadian flag on each side.
probably, seeing as the van was parked in a handicap spot, the owner was an elderly man who loved canada so much that he was willing to start the celebrations a little earlier.

harveys never fails to have both the canadian flag and the american flag flying on the building.
port colborne is a sort of border town as it is twenty miles from fort erie which is the first town over the border from buffalo.

of course bernie and i always have our flags on display all spring and summer and fall.
and so i had to snap this picture again!
wednesday the little red car will be taking us out to look for a real display of canada day.....somewhere!!!

happy ruby tuesday everybody....love terry
