Ruby Red Bushes And Ruby Red Leafed Houses

http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/

go and see mary t, our teach and look what she has created!

autumn red is finally starting to glimmer through the greens and golden leaves. little bushes are changing their summer greens to ruby red autumn garments.
this particular one was on our own street and i just didn't have the nerve to be taking a closer photo.
as it was, bernie and the little red car pretended they didn't know me as i sneakily snapped this picture as we drove by.

now this pretty little house sporting a new red tinned roof was easier to snap a picture of because it was many blocks away. the ruby red bush was just an added incentive for me to do just that!

oh boy, i just KNEW that when i spotted this little house that was clothed in leaves just turning red, that the little red car would be very interested, and so it was!

i mean....look at the guy trying to hog most of the photo area as i got out of the car to take this picture....for sure and the little red car knew me now but bernie, not liking my boldness still pretended he didn't know me!

well eat your heart out bernie!...i got even closer to this little beauty and got an even better picture!

HAPPY RUBY TUESDAY MARY T AND ALL OF YOUR RUBY TUESDAYERS!

GOD BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL IN THIS LOVELY FALL SEASON!!!.....LOVE TERRY

Terry I loved that red bush in the picture. The Boston Ivy against that house is incredible as well.

Dear Terry,
You live in such lovely, rural surroundings. It's a pleasure to follow you and Bernie around, as long as you stay within the little red car.
I guess I shall have to post some red road signs on my next Ruby Tuesday, that is;if my arm will cooperate.
From Felisol

dear felisol,
how good to hear your sweet voice first thing in a southern ontario morning.
i am sorry to hear about your arm acting up again...
if i had my way felisol, my bestest, i would whisk you and gunnar and the princess and mom ljung away from the far side of the sea in norway to here....canada, and take you for a ride in the little red car...
alas though bernie and his fat cat will have to ride in the trunk!
ha!
please take care felisol and do wait until your arm feels better before you do too much....love terry

Hi Terry,
Thanks for the visit!
I really like your photo tour, it looks like you were having really nice weather. The old house covered with ivy is beautiful!
I went to your Manitoba Roots blog also, and I think you are beautiful in that field of canola!
Have a blessed day!

Happy autumn to you, too!
That first photo of the bright red bush is great. And it was fun traveling around with you and Bernie and seeing your neighborhood.

Happy Ruby Tuesday ~

Hi Terry, YOU and that RED car and BERNIE do just wonders! The three of you.
Bernie might be like Mrs. Jim. When we visited New Hampshire a few years ago I wanted to take her to the house I lived in with the kids and ex.
We found it easily, our car was reading my mind. But when I wanted to take a picture, Mrs. Jim said we had better ask. Because, if they saw us they might get worried as to our purpose.
We asked permisssion, they invited us in, and showed us around to see what all they had added in those thirty some years.
They were the nicest people. Do you know they moved to that house from Canada just right after we were in Texas!
..
We still don't know where we are going. Notice I said WE. I hope we don't stay home.

Happy RT! Your picture of the little house with the red tin roof is wonderful!

A tin roof is a new one on me. But it looks great and the red tree in front is a nice timely event, as you so well noted!

Dear Terry another red tinged vista. Your neighbourhood is very charming.

I like the leaf cottage.....looks very English to me.

Hi Felisol, let me talk to you here. I was checking if you had your rubies put up yet.

Autumn is already in the air. Soon it will be winter. Autumn has such a poignant effect to one's soul. I always associate autumn with the timeless song- Autumn Leaves. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Hi Terry,
I hope you are feeling better.
I don't know for sure if the red bushes on my RT post are called burning bushes, but when I posted similar photos last autumn someone told me that is what they're called.
That sounded good to me!

Have a nice weekend. ;-)
