Mr. Jim Is 107 Years Old Today!

It is your birthday today Grampa Jim and here lies poor little Amber. She feels like she has been deserted by you and to top it all off she can't even watch "Deal Or No Deal" with all those political doings knocking it off the air!
Even so, she does wish you a Happy Birthday and maybe she won't even be home when you return. Her Canadian auntie is bugging Adi to no end to hurry up and pick up all of the blog animal buddies and fly them to Canada for the Dog and Cat Fiesta!

Naomi's son, Sweetie is waiting anxiously for Adi and Katrin to pick her up for her first Canadian trip. After all she was asked three days ago!
What is the big hold up anyway?
Big deal if it is somebody's birthday, eh?
Birthdays come and birthdays go but it isn't every day that he gets invited out to a Canadian party!

Hi Mr. Uncle Jim. My name is Mia but you probably already know that.
I have seen you on my new mommy's blog.
Her name is Dianne and she just thinks that I am the cat's meow!
Miss. Terry has let me stick with Sweetie and you because that Siren wants to get a hold of me and drop me off to the country side.
Doesn't even know that we are family!!!
And I have such pretty eyes and a spankin' clean face!

Happy Birthday Mr. Uncle Jim!

Aha!! Here is the star of the whole day.
Mr. Jim, himself!
Bernie and I wish you a very Happy Birthday!
And because you are far away in South America, and because you can't sing for your own birthday, and since you can't even carry a tune anyway, if you COULD sing for your own birthday, I have hired me a new kitty to do the honours of singing for you!!

Oh dear my new hired help!
Please stay away from that cake. If you burn yourself, I would not be able to pay for any compensation!
I TOLD that Mr. Shirkie not to put any candles on that thing!

Ya know Mr. Jim, I think I know WHY Bernie put those 107 candles on that cake.
You know how he loves his burnt English muffins, eh?
Well he is looking forward to eating that whole "burnt to a crisp cake", himself!

Your sweetheart, Mrs. Jim looks so sad!
She is waiting to give you a birthday kiss, a pinch and 107 smacks
!

Now Bernie's cat, Shopper has his nose all of joint, as usual.
He figures he should have been in the first kitty picture and here he is the fifth cat down!
Even the hired help cat was ahead of him.
HIRED HELP!!
NOT fair!
Well, he wasn't even up at six in the morning when I started this post, so he can cry all he wants to Mr. Uncle Jim!
He is so mad that he won't even wish you a Happy Birthday, eh?
And my good friend, amazing grace man, Grandpaw Ron calls ME the mean old Canadian woman.
I tell you they don't come much meaner than that Shopping News!

Aw! Now here is the fair queen of the Fiesta, herself, Grandpaw Ron's Princess.
She has been here for three or four days now, waiting for Adi to fly down her followers and royal subjects.
She is mad at her auntie though, because she is sick and tired of eating sour canned apple sauce and frozen carrots, and cat treats for dessert.
She tells me that her dada Ron gives her fresh peaches, fresh tangerines and golden Granny Smith apples!

Her majesty wishes you a very Happy Birthday Mr. Jim!

Now Grampa Jim!
Do you see how this girl is all crunched down?
Looks like she is guilty of something, eh?
Well she IS! I have called her and called her several times to get her act together and pick up all of the guests for the fiesta, but she is more concerned about waiting for you to come home!
Apparently she is hoping that you have saved her those stale hot dog buns that you usually feed her and she says she is absolutely starving and ALL of the ice cream is gone!!!!
She wishes her Grampa a Happy Birthday and "Please come home soon, bearing many gifts!

Yeh!
Isn't THIS the face of innocence Papa Jim?
NAWT!!!
THAT is where all of the ice cream went!
In the dead of night, while Adi was enjoying a siesta, well Katrin got into the freezer and you can guess what she did, eh?
She gobbled up all of that ice cream right down and now has such a belly ache that she can't even wish her new daddy a Happy Birthday!

Here is Siren
Such a beautiful face she has, but let me tell you that Dianne's first daughter has a bent out of joint nose too!
Now her mommy thinks that SHE is the cat's meow too but so far she hasn't been able to see it.
She will soon get used to her new little sister though and then the two of them, she and Mia will be getting into all sorts of mischief in their Mama's basement!
She wishes you a Happy Birthday and wonders if you have any spare chocolates that you can part with, Mr. Uncle Jim?

Here is a tired looking Turtle.
Princess and Shopper have not sent all of the invitations out yet, but Turtle and her brother, Jake know that they are always welcome to come to their auntie's house.
The door is always open and although her Mom, Sioux and especially her Dad, Raf miss her when she is gone, they still allow the visit!
It will be nice to see her and her brother again and I am sure that they both wish you a Happy Birthday Mr. Uncle Jim!

The reason that Sioux and Raf's son looks so dejected and sad is because he was snooping into his Mom's computer and got wind that there was to be a huge party going on at the Shirkies and he figured that he was not invited,
He wondered why because after all, he had behaved himself so well the last time he got an invite.Well if you are snooping again Jake, please rest, assured, you are invited!
One thing though my dear Jake, because we have some newer guests this year, they will be getting the extra beds. So please bring your own sleeping bag!

Here is Sheba, who is the son of an Indian princess, Amrita.
I think that Adi is a little afraid of flying over the ocean, but I told her that she would be OK. Maybe I should get a hold of few more dogs to go with her.
I will maybe find Mrs. Mac's Dawg and convince her to go along!
It will be nice to see a dog from India. I hope he likes spaghetti and meatballs , piping hot and with no garlic!
He truly does love you too Mr. Jim.
He has been scouring the papers for days looking for news of you and your Spanish friends and much to his delight, there you were right on the very front page! He wishes you a Happy Birthday!

If you want to see something cute, let me introduce you to a kitty from my beloved Manitoba.
This is Saija's and Leo's son and they are quite willing to part with him for a few days, but I did get a stern warning that he bites, so we will have to be careful for sure!
As soon as Scooter heard that he was going to be making a visit to Southern Ontario, he packed his bag and he is waiting for Adi and Katrin to pick him up.
Maybe after his visit here, we can use that same bag and pack HIM up and mail him over to the far side of the sea, to Norway, the land of many mice. There is a girl there by the name of Felisol who sorely needs his services. That girl is afraid of meeces!!!

Happy Birthday Mr. Uncle Jim from the Manitoba gopher, Scooter!

Special Bulletin
Sweetie..Here is the answer to your question. I just heard from Mr. Uncle Jim!

"The Internet here is too slow for videos to play and make sense with the words. It comes in bits and pieces.

This is the last work day, we will have a pizza party tonight and go touristing one day Friday, then home Saturday. Time goes soo fast here when you are trying to get so much done."..Mr. Jim

Dear Jim,
third place I wish you a happy birthday.
Nobody can make greetings like my best blogfriend Terry.
I tale along thinking maybe you are having a good time in Guatemala as well.
Those children can make anyone's heart melt. It is a huge blessing to know that one means a difference in people's life. You sure do, birthdayboy, Jim.

I had to lie on my profile, it thinks my birthday is January 1. So it still says '106'.

And I give up, Adi and Katrin can go any place you want them as long as you or someone responsible is with them. Amber can come as well.
