today is our sunshine jel's 22nd anniversary!

now last year our dear sunshine gave to her husband of 21 years the most precious gift she has and she keeps on giving it and giving it to him...her heart!
now how can a person ever not accept such a gift and so stan keeps taking it and taking it!....jel's heart!


now this picture thief struck gold this time at jel's blog...just look at what i found..a sure enough wedding picture of the love birds being married..good thing too because that stan really makes himself scarce at jel's place..hardly a picture to be found!
it really looks like a nice sunny day, the day that our sunshine was wed!


now this is why bernie and i call jel our sunshine...sometimes when our day has been black and clouds have filled the sky, why then we see a little piece of sunshine breaking through in the form of an email or a blog comment on my blog..from jel..
she has many a time been a sun ray on our path!


she is a true friend to many!

thursday was crown of beauty's 32nd wedding anniversary, another anniversary spent without her beloved husband ernie who's name means "battle to the death".

it has just become august 19th here in southern ontario, just in time to wish to two lovers on the far side of the sea a very happy anniversary!

happy 32 years marriage raf and sue sioux!

on may 5th our good friends raf and sioux sue celebrated their 32nd anniversary and so, although it is two days late we want to wish them a very happy belated anniversary.
i have put them into a beautiful lake ontario sunset but alas the trees are not so beautiful!
they are still undressed and are waiting for the tiny buds to grow into leaves!
in the picture where raf has carved his and his sweetheart's initials are two cats guarding it.
the kitties names are gus and turtle.
turtle is raf's pride and joy but sioux sue loves all three of her cats.
their other cat, jake refused to come back to canada again because he feels that he was thoroughly snubbed by grandpaw ron's daughter, princess and i am sure he was!
adi and amber, mr. jim's grandaughters have escorted turtle and jake over a couple of times to canada to visit bernie and me and shopper and various other blogger pets.

Ruby Tuesday Bone China For The Jims

Today it is Mr. and Mrs. Jim's 36th anniversary.
Now, seeing as it is Ruby Tuesday and seeing as Mr. and Mrs. Jim would have to wait another four years for a ruby anniversary, I decided to shop google images and get me some ruby coloured bone china.
Bone china is the 36 year anniversary symbol.
Here, standing on a bed of bone China roses is the happy bride and groom and their pretty flower girl and handsome ring bearer.


Mr. and Mrs. Jim as they are now are cloned into this pretty bone China cup.
The two doggies are Adi, Mr. Jim's granddaughter and Katrin, Mr. and Mrs. Jim's adopted daughter.


Now what I was thinking here Mr. Jim ,when I spotted these china red mugs and there are three of them, that perhaps you can send that Adi and Katrin with your airplane to fly over and pick up our Teach for the celebration, eh?
Just a suggestion!
I have broken all the rules for this Ruby Tuesday...None of these pictures are mine Mr. Jim!
Don't you dare tell a soul, eh?

Happy Anniversary Julie & Andy

Today is Julie and Andy's fifth anniversary and we are wishing them a really happy one!
