Ruby Tuesday A Day Before Canada Day

Check Spellingtoday is ruby tuesday and tomorrow is canada day so what is a person to do?
even though the flags should already be flying and people should be celebrating, bernie and i and the little red car found only these few flags!
here the little red car wedged its way in beside a ruby red van that was displaying a canadian flag on each side.
probably, seeing as the van was parked in a handicap spot, the owner was an elderly man who loved canada so much that he was willing to start the celebrations a little earlier.

harveys never fails to have both the canadian flag and the american flag flying on the building.
port colborne is a sort of border town as it is twenty miles from fort erie which is the first town over the border from buffalo.

of course bernie and i always have our flags on display all spring and summer and fall.
and so i had to snap this picture again!
wednesday the little red car will be taking us out to look for a real display of canada day.....somewhere!!!

happy ruby tuesday everybody....love terry

Very patriotic. I love the Canadian Flag. And the American flag of course, but we as neighboring countries should do this often.

Happy Canada Day!!!

My Ruby Tuesday is posted. I'd love to have your company. Come visit won't you? Happy day to you greetings.

I am finally feeling up to getting around the blogs once again. I have been incredibly zapped from whatever my grandkids passed on to me while I was in town.

So, how close to Buffalo, NY are you? We flew in to Buffalo last July when Dave had the Railroad Convention in Niagara Falls Ontario. It's currently going on right now but out in Palm Springs, California where it's 115 degrees! (No thanks, I passed this year!) Dave's dad grew up in North Tonawonda, NY.

Sending a hug your way today!

Hi Terry, if I'd a come here yesterday I would have known today was Canada Day. I should remember that, or try to remember it.

So I hope you had a happy Canada Day. Do they do fireworks? We won't have any this year except the licensed public displays. Our whole part of the state has a burn ban for the drought and fireworks are prohibited.

Your reds came out very nice as they always do.
