Happy Anniversary Bernie
Dear Bernie....I started this anniversary post on Wednesday but sad to say, it is three days late!
On our anniversary, we went to St Catharine's to get our passports and oh, what a happy feeling that was when we were accepted!
You know me well enough that I would burst into tears with happiness and I surely did.
I know that you were crying on the inside, just to know that we will never be separated from the great United States by a border bridge!
This was the best anniversary gift that I have ever received!
And they lived happily ever after!
Well, back to the present[March 12 2009]
The next day, we went to the licence bureau and picked up a handicap sign for me and the little red car!
After thirty seven years of marriage....
.....it has come from motorcycling with you to the west and to the BC mountains.....
.....to traveling with you in your big blue van that is wearing a blue and white handicap sign....Go figure, eh!
Well I am putting in one of our three songs that we used to play on the transistor radio...My the times have changed but one thing Bernie that HASN'T changed and never will change is my love for you.....Love Terry

Dear Terry and Bernie,
what a lovely couple you are and were.
Congratulations and celebrations.
(Another Cliff Richard song)
I am a Cliff fan too. Never understood that America did not take him to their hearts.
Hugs from Felisol
Dear Felisol...Thanks so much.
We did love Cliff Richards and did you know that he was born again in 1965 and he helped out a little at the Billy Graham concerts.
How great is THAT?
I am going to look up that other song you are talking about.
You see, I only started to listen to the hit parade when I was going with Bernie.
That Mom Golden never let us have a radio!![although mind you, Betty and I would sneak a song or two on Dad Golden's radio when Mom Golden wasn't about!].
Ha!! Years later she said to me when she heard a Bobby Vinton song...my favourite singer at the time.
Well she said, "I don't blame you for liking that guy Terry!" Ha!
Thanks Felisol...Love Terry

Awesome display of pictures Terry...Happy Anniversary to you and Bernie...
I have not been yet to get my enhanced license...that is what it is called....in lieu of a passport to cross the border...issued by our DMV... guess I should get on that real soon- eh?

Happy belated Anniversary to both of you!!!
Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures. What a wonderful pair you were and are. :-)
God's Grace.
Happy Anniversary you 2 Love Birds! I think we should all post pics from our wedding and share with the other sistas. Just remember that wise saying:
"The older the violin, the sweeter the music!"
Gus McRae, "Lonesome Dove"
Aaah, this is a sweet heart of a post you two love birds. And passports to celebrate! Just yesterday I received my new passport in the mail so now I can drive the hundred miles to visit Canada. That Mr. Mac applied too ... but his has yet to arrive via mail. The 'gift' is getting his soon also. BTW Miss Terry ... did you know that my ancestors from our homeland of Ireland first settled in Johnville, New Brunswick? I just found that nice piece of info a few hours ago. Now we shall be knows as 'kissin-Canadian-USA-Ireland cousins for sure, eh??? Happy Anniversary Day and May the Lord bless you ... with or without having to park in the handicapped parking zone :)
Terry - OH how I've enjoyed your photos! You two are the sweetest couple! And the most recent photo of the two of you in your matching blue (I'm sure that you didn't plan that!) is my favorite! ....and noticing that Mom Golden's expression hasn't changed over the years --she still has her "smile"!
Happy belated anniversary. I pray that the Lord blesses you with many more years together!
Dearst Terry an dBernie, Congratulations!
Such charming and delightful photos these are. Terry you look like Jaqueline Kennedy.
Such gorgeous memories to chreish. Hope you had a great celebration.
And you know Cliff Richard was born in India, in my state capital. He is of Anglo Indian parentage!
Happy Belated Anniversary!!
Thanks for your note, Terry. We've all been affected by the economy but God still provides. Amen?
