Thank you My Felisol

This poem is about the questions a human asked God almighty and the answers given to him by the God.

I got up early one morning
And rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn't have time to pray
Problems just tumbled about me,
And heavier came each task.
"Why doesn't God help me?"
I wondered. He answered,
"You didn't ask".
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on, gray and bleak
I wondered why God didn't show me.
He said,"But you didn't seek".
I tried to come into God's presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child you didn't knock".
I woke up early this morning,
And paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.
Have a God blessed day.
Yours Felisol

What alovely poem, its got hospel truth in it.I too am so busy at the begining of the day that my prayers are rushed. Must take more time to talk with the Lord.

Glad to hear Mom is feeling better. Very nice picture of both Mom and Dad.

I did write to David Fisher but got no answer??

isn't that true ... the things we think we don't have time for, are actually the fuel we need to accomplish the task!

Happy Valentine's day

Dear Terry, I'm sorry I missed your message about Sabine's grandson & praying for him. Did everything go well for him? Blogger must not have been working that day...both my blogs were ok that I know of. Would you mind letting Sabine know that I am unable to access her blog. If she would like me to come by I'd love to but need a password I guess. Your poem/post is great...and just the truth of things too. Happy Valentine's Day to you & your true love....=)

Hi Terry,

Lovely poem...so much in life is our "unopened mail" it seems of what God sends us . Time to start checking that mail of ours : )

I hope all's well with you right now Terry, and your family.

Peaceful Week : ) Wendy

Dear Terry,
thinking of you and your family. Hope things work out well for Mom ans Dad Golden, with doctor's appointment, health and strength.
We're having a cold, but sunny Valentine's Day. Give yourself a break and enjoy the love of love, love of life and foremost God's eternal love, that we may be called his children.

Dear Terry,
your silence speaks volumes.
I know then when you are off line for longer time,your life is not easy.
Be assured that I am there in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Mrs. Shirkie,

I know that you must be having a hard time with Arlene's state of health...you can't tell me that it is not bothering you ever. I have a lump in my throat, and I hardly knew her, but she is such a kind and loving lady...when she goes, I will never forget her. I pray God will comfort you andgive you peace in your mind and being. I wish I could just call you up, being, honestly, I have a HUGE lump in my throat, and my eyes are threatening to well over at any moment. I can hear the ringing as e-mails for the paper keep coming into my inbox that I am supposed to be filing away, but I could care less right now. I wanted to come over and let you know you are in my prayers. Please don't ever feel overwhelmed...just give it to Jesus and let Him carry your load. It is hard to do, I know. I dog-walk now 8-9 times a week, am starting up a business, working on our newspaper, taking piano lessons, and trying to still cram in my housework, and stops by the two widows near our home (one I stop by nearly every weekday), and also running over to my grandparents' to practice the piano, and also spend time with them. Oh, and I also TRY to call or write my friends to update them on my dad after every treatment. It is tiring, I can tell you, even if I am almost 22 years young, I still wear out at some time. I can't imagine what it must be like for you who is taking such great care of your parents. Know that every morning when I pray for you...around 6:15/6:30...what time do you get up? If you tell me, I will take note and also remember you at that time. LMG prays for you, too. Her birthday is coming up, by the way...she is going to be 18, can you believe it? My little sister is going to be all grown up! ;) The Sens play the Habs on her birthday--I think she feels that is her gift from them ;) All our birthdays are in March/April/May, beginning the beginning of March, and ending on Pilot's wedding (that's my youngest brother's birthday). Your anniversary is coming up, isn't it? I have a card I made just for you and Mr. Shirkie that I've been wanting to send you...maybe I'll write it in time for your anniversary.

Now I feel a littl better...I hope you do, too ;) I have to get to those e-mails, they aren't rolling in anymore, and I want to file them before I hit the shower.

Love and Prayers,
LPP Rose
