Early Signs Of Autumn

Early signs of autumn are appearing on the palace grounds.

Some of the leaves are putting on their fall shades and a few leaves are even falling softly to the ground.

Golden flowers add to the array of color and the Jack-in-the-Pulpits are showing off their dusky red berries.

Early Fall?

Yes.

Hopefully, though a LONG autumn and a winter come lately!!

Hello Terry!
Those are some beautiful pictures! IT's amazing that God made all of those things and I can't wait for fall time.. but I do LOVE Christmas and the snow more! Have a great day!

Oh Terry...what wonderful pictures! I LOVE Fall...it is my favourite time of year. I love the colours, the crispness in the air (but I don't care for the winter that follows!) and I love walking through the leaves, hearing that "swish, swish". I even love raking leaves...Andy thinks I'm crazy because last year I kep saying how I wished I had a house, so that I could go in the yard and rake leaves! Especially those big ole maple tree leaves that cover your lawn, oh I love it!

Yes, I know, I need to get out more!! LOL! :D

Wouldn't a long autumn be wonderful? What a good idea. The last couple of years it seemed like a very short autumn. This is a magical time when summer lingers and meets fall face to face.

Here in the South East USA Fall does not come very soon. We wait and wait for it but we never get the "signs" like you are showing us. It is still very HOT here but of course you are up in the NORTH!! When I lived in Illinois we had the signs and the weather was cool at this time of the year but not here. I had a grand time at the beach. I will be posting some pictures soon...Sandy

Miss Teresa,

Positively lovely...and breathtaking too. Thank you so much for sharing.

This California girl...is very envious of my Canadian blogger buddies...like you and David Fisher and Saja.

Autumn in California is very subtle. It's more the feel or angle of the sun or a breeze that blows. That's why seeing God's handiwork is so wonderful.

Thanks for visiting my friend. By the way...I recently purchased several Greater Vision CD's. Oh my goodness...if you've not heard some of their recent work...be sure to treat yourself.

You take good care...and love the picture of your mom with all those hats.

Lord bless...Susan

Thanks so much my kindred spirit, American friend!

You like Greater Vision too, eh? Oh boy you just can't beat them!!
David Fisher sent me their latest CD.
It was so kind of him!!

Ha!! I would like California weather. There would be NO complaints from me...
If you want Miss Susan, I will mail you a bunch of snow this winter!!..Love Terry
