this week i was busy downloading wedding photos that bernie and i took one year ago of a young couple. now the groom's sister and her lovely family were down for the happy occasion. as they were running to the out door wedding, i took this shot of the mama with her five little ducklings following her and i am so ashamed that i never gave her and her handsome husband this picture a year ago... so this is what i am doing...i will just post it here and surprise her. this mother, believe it or not was in my sunday school class when she was three and her eldest child was in my sunday school class when HE was three! sharlene's goal in life was to marry her sweetheart, paul who she had met when she was just 14. they were married two years later. sharlene is a great mother. she home schooled all of her children and paul and she have done a marvellous job of bringing them up in the ways of the lord..
here is a picture of paul and sharlene after all these years, you can sure see that they are still deeply in love!
and here is the whole happy family!
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Psalm 127:4-5
4As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:
the lord has richly blessed you paul and sharlene! love bernie and terry
I grew up in a family of nine children and each week my mother didn't just send us to Sunday School, she came with us.
We heard the gospel week after week from the year 1956 but were not saved until 1967.
The summer of 1967 my mother,my sister, Betty and I were all gloriously saved.
From that year until now several of my brothers and sisters were saved, but my dad still remains on the outside.
It has been our prayer that he will be saved soon and then the family circle will be unbroken and we will all be on our way to heaven where we will meet the Lord and see our brother, David who has gone on before.
