Thanks for the song, Terry, Mr Shea's music has always been a blessing to me.
One thing I found amazing was the friendship between him and Dr Graham was so strong and lasted so long, as well as with Cliff Barrows, to me that says a lot about them as followers of Christ.
Enjoy your day.

Oh I love this..always have enjoyed hearing him sing and so many memories come back...like taking my own to see Billy Graham when they were children.
Well I am visiting the blogs that are mentioning they did the journal...I sent it to Debbie and got it from Sandy...so nice to meet you. Now that little girl had no idea that journal would connect all these bloggers around the world.

From this journal entry in Texas.

Terry, this wonderful is sung so pretty by George Beverly Shea. Thank you for putting it on.

I sang with him or Cliff Barrows once in El Paso, Texas. Our choir had a night to be the helper local choir at a Graham "rally." Billy Graham wasn't there but one of them, I wish I could remember which, came as the feature singer.

His Eye Is on the Sparrow that he sings is my favorite.
..
You probably guessed, but that singing of mine was before we moved to New Hampshire where the new choir director asked me to not sing anymore in our (new to us) church choir.
