Gospel Meeting On A Ruby Tuesday

http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/

The little red car and I will be very busy for the next few weeks!
We will be picking up people for the special evangelist meetings.
Each night, we will first pick up two little boys, aged 10 and 12 that come every week to Sunday School and have decided that they just HAVE to come to Gospel meetings in the evening.
Then we will pick up Mom Golden and tonight one of our friends from the apartments has decided to try for the first time to attend.
The little red car can hold only five people so my good friends, Leona and Doug have offered to pick up Sandy, the boys Gramma and also Sandy's two granddaughters.
It should be a very interesting time the next few weeks.
People, we pray will be saved, and Christians will be revived.
And one of the preachers is even American!
Last year he came to visit Dad Golden a few times and he was very kindly received!
The other young man will be coming to meet Dad Golden too.

Since last week, I have been thinking about Mr. Jim's http://jimmiehov.blogspot.com/...favourite verse.
I have always loved this verse too, ever since I first heard it in Sunday School as a child.
I had tried for years to fine a plaque of this verse, but never succeeded.
Then one day my good friend, Leona made me this one for me.I keep it on the top of my piano. I really treasure it!
The house in this picture with all of those ruby hearts painted on it, reminds me of Grandpaw Ron's http://rrbj.wordpress.com/ house....the home to which he has opened up the door and welcomed his two precious little granddaughters into.
Just the same as the Lord Jesus has His arms opened wide to welcome us into His family and into His house.
The big green trees embracing this home remind me of Felisol's http://felisol.blogspot.com/ large pine trees that are in front of her house, that is situated on the far side of the sea!
She loves those pine trees because they have become the home for generations of birds.
Those trees are a shelter to God's little creatures, just as the Lord Jesus will become a shelter for us in the time of the storm.

I treasure Leona too as my friend.
She and her husband, Doug have been members of the Golden clan for over thirty years, ever since we met her at special Gospel meetings and she was gloriously saved!

As you see dearest Teach Mary T, I have tried to put in as much ruby red as I could!
And here is a ruby red scripture for the whole world!

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

God bless you all this bright Ruby Tuesday, and bless you the whole week....Love Terry

Dearest Terry,
You are burning like a ruby fire.
May you be richly blessed.
May you also be strengthened so your chauffeuring all those people will not be too much for you.
Oh, you will be strengthened, I know.
Praying for Dad Golden that this may be the day.
Yours Felisol

Terry, this is a very nice post. Happy RT! (I am not posting RTs this week again, a time constraint here.)
Thank you for telling of my favorite Bible verse again. Later I might discuss with you and Leona about copying your picture of the plaque she made for you. It is soooooo nice!

I am glad one of the ministers is going to visit with Pop Golden. We could pray that the one who visited last year and the young man will be warmly received by Pop
G.

But pray for more than that, we never know when someone a person is open too will mention just the right scripture or witness which will then lead to salvation.
My son, Mike, was indifferent to God's plan. He believed in God but didn't think he needed 'saving.'
Mike is very athletic. Then one year he attended a revival/sports meeting lead by a football player. He was saved that night.

Hang in there!
..
Oh yes, I have wanted to go to the South Pole for a long time. At first I didn't have the time or $$$. Now I could break the budget and go and do have the time. But my age probably would exclude me. People have to be useful to be on the South Pole (or extremely rich and/or famous).
