I seen Cole today and he was doing fairly good ! As a matter of fact all of them spent two thirds of the day with me ! I thank everybody for their prayers !
Hey Terry, thanks for the update. We never know how or when God will answer our prayers. Sometimes we almost give up hope, at least that can be easy to do. We have been praying for our friend to be saved ever since we knew her nine years ago. She was saved Saturday afternoon, probably in her death bed. She is in the hospital with cancer and likely will not make the week out. She has just shut down, refusiing food or medicine except for pain. ..
Dear Terry and Granddad of Cole, Mr. Ron, I certainly will keep on praying for Cole. We don't know what the Lord wants, except for this single thing;pray, be praying, always. I just read from John. 14 ( I recommend reading the hole chapter) 12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
We have been praying for this little girl of one year who's had a liver transplant. And guess what; a couple of days ago she was sent home from the hospital, a month earlier than the doctor's best expectations.
I do believe in a living God who performs miracles. I do believe in God who hears everything we are praying for and answers in his time. Soon I hope to learn about Dad Golden's salvation too.
Christ is calling him night and day, and we are praying around the clock.
I grew up in a family of nine children and each week my mother didn't just send us to Sunday School, she came with us.
We heard the gospel week after week from the year 1956 but were not saved until 1967.
The summer of 1967 my mother,my sister, Betty and I were all gloriously saved.
From that year until now several of my brothers and sisters were saved, but my dad still remains on the outside.
It has been our prayer that he will be saved soon and then the family circle will be unbroken and we will all be on our way to heaven where we will meet the Lord and see our brother, David who has gone on before.
