Happy Belated Birthday To Jim Our Singing Telegram Man

I woke up in the wee hours of the morning and read this message sent to me from the far side of the sea.......... Dear Terry, "The best birthday singer has celebrated his birthday in Guatemala!".... Felisol........ What is a person to do?....Of course I had to at least make a sleepy attempt to wish to Jim a Happy Happy Birthday....hats off to this beloved friend of all of us!....Looking mighty fine for a man who is 105 years old according to his own profile.,,http://jimmiehov.blogspot.com HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THREE CHEERS FOR ADI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For he's a jolly good fellow,..........For he's a jolly good fellow,..........For he's a jolly good fellow,..........Which nob'dy can deny...........Which nob'dy can deny...........Which nob'dy can deny...........For he's a jolly good fellow,..........For he's a jolly good fellow,..........For he's a jolly good fellowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww,..........Which nob'dy can deny!!!!!!!!!!
...............sorry Jim, I am as bad a singer as you!.......We will have to wait until LP makes an entrance.....Now, THAT is one good singing voice!.............PS...Now Jim, there is a person out there who you owe a tune to when you get back home.....He did not want me to admit this to anybody but it was PT's birthday this month too.....There are too many birds around this joint letting all kinds of secrets out and I am one that has to tell them!..........

Thanks, Terry, Passing Through, JEL, and LPP (aka Hebrews 11:1), for those nice wishes.

Terry, I wasn't planning on visiting here till tomorrow or Monday. I did visit 'By His Stripes' for an update and was pleasantly informed of good news.

You see I have been out of town (well you read about it on my blog) and only wrote one post from a borrowed computer when I was supposed to be working. So certainly not a lot of looking around.
BD wishes started on my blog last Monday in the comments.
That's where Felisol discovered, in the commnents.
Like daughter, Susie, said, "this year Dad is running away for his BD, to Guatemala."
I did that pretty well, I have some pictures of the pinata party.
..
Oh yes, LPP, that is the Texas BD song you taught me. You sing it well!

Dear Terry, Jim and passing-thru,
thank you, Terry for taking time to be our clever and heartedly birthday -greeter, Jim for singing his songs and passing-thru for having celebrated his birthday as well. Congratulation to our Christian fellows, I love to have you as a part of the prayer family, and thank you for tears and laughter shared in this past half-year.
Now we'll have to focus on the Goldens'. They are in some rough water at the momement with Mom Golden at the hospital. My PC is only letting through half the mail p.t., but What I SAW the other day was not uplifting.
Dear Terry, I am praying for all of you and hoping to God he'll give you all strength and resurrection!
Psalm 28:
9 All my longings lie open before you, O Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you.
Psalm 39:
7 "But now, Lord, what do I look for?
My hope is in you.
Psalm 62:
1 My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.

2 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

3 How long will you assault a man?
Would all of you throw him down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?

4 They fully intend to topple him
from his lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.
Selah

5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from him.

6 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

Isn't David, wonderful, Terry?
The mighty king and warrior being so humid and human sharing prayers , sorrows and feeling s that we all can identify with.
God is our fortress and we shall not be shaken.
God bless you, all of you!!!
