Please Pray for Dad Golden

Dad Golden was called this morning and told that he will be going into the hospital this Friday for the surgery on his neck arteries.
They are almost 100 per cent plugged so he will probably have to have a stent put in.
Dad Golden is an amazing father to this large family and he is a good husband to Mom Golden but he is not saved.
I am asking for all of your continuing prayer for my Dad.
Oh when he gets saved, I will be eternally grateful to you all!...Love Terry

Dear Felisol... I want to thank you and Serina very much for making this picture and verse card for Dad Golden.
I printed it out for him and hopefully he will listen to the voice of God as He gently bids him to come to Him for rest and peace.

Dear Terry,
these were the words that came to me when I read your comment onmy blog.
(You are familiar with me living in the shelter of God's promises.)
Phil.4
"6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
I felt like sharing these words with you. They are not empty or an easy way out, they are tried and found to be true.
Yours Felisol

WHERE was I supposed to meet you, Mrs.Shirkie?

Oh, is there a way to SCREAM WITH JOY on the internet????!!!! Because now I have forgot that my dad is in severe pain, and came home from work today, that there have been troubles and trials aplenty....now for one moment I want to SCREAM...WE WON!!! Our paper I worked so hard on and spent such long hours WON FIRST PRIZE in the National Post's contest!!! We tied with a paper in Ontario, because we were both so good, but ours was with homeschooled children, between the ages of 8 and 15, with no journalism experience, except my siblings who had a bit!!! And there was only one 15 y.o., one 14 y.o., and two 13 y.o....the other 18 students were between the ages of 8 and 12!!!! We got the news at 5 PM, but I've been soooo busy, it has only really hit now, and I want to tell the world...except I am anonymous, and my siblinsg will be in the National Post on Monday!!!! You have got to check it out then...if you can. All their names are there, too, so just don't look to closely ;) My sister and I are mentioned in the front page story in an amusing sort of way, too. Not our names, just what we did. I even got to set up our e-mail account for the paper, and, no, you can't write me at it, because it is the paper's, and I will be "handing it over" to the co-ordinators this weekend or next week. Up till now I have been checking it, and keeping up with it...no mail anyways! YAAAAAAYYYYY! I still can't believe we won, and I never even dreamed we would until we were informed yesterday that we were in the top 3, and would be judged today...then I began wondering, suppose we DO win?! I am so non-competitive...the whole experience was so much fun, and when we produce our next paper, there will be no contest, but who cares?! Oh,Mrs. Shirkie, if I could only throw my arms around you and let out a squeal of joy! I have been so busy that only two acquaintances een know about my participation in this paper! Please tell Mrs. Ljung for me, because I'd love to, but have no time, and whoever else ou think would share in my family's joy...oh, and please keep my dad in prayer, because the pain is SEVERE. Tomorrow we have a craft sale to attend, and he is staying home for the first time! I will be off here until at least Sunday, so if you write me, know I might not get it until then. Oh, and whoever you tell about our winning paper, please urge them to respect my anonymity and not contact out paper about us, or anything like that. If you get the Post and see our front page photo, I am sure God willopen your eyes as to who my siblings are ;) ENJOY! And please don't post it on Pals...:)

God bless you with an even merrier time than I am having right this second!

Love,
LPP
