Dear Terry, as I've said before, you look very much like your mother, very delicate and beautiful in a classic way. Hope she is as empathic and warm hearted as her daughter. Send her my best. In Norway we have mother's day second Sunday in February, so we have already celebrated Mother's day for this year. Just now my daughter and I are leaving for my hometown. My father was brought to the small town hospitale this morning, in a coma. We fear he might leave us now. It's almost too tough. I pray "Thy will be done"..
Wishing all the canadian mothers especially Mom Golden a pleasant mothers day and you to Terry . Say hello to bernie for me. Blessings. Ron. PS and all the other mothers in the blogsphere that may read this ?
Thank you so much for letting me know about Elise's Dad. My heart is breaking for her. She is so family oriented. I am praying for her and her family and thank you for your prayers.
Good morning, Mrs. Terry S., Just thought I'd let you know I've caught up with your blog, but have no time to write...so, once I've done my share of commenting on the Pilgrim's blog, this "Pilgrim Pal" will write you here again. We gave our mom and grandma a great day yesterday...and then I got a treat and attended an amazing Christian conference last night...I don't know how I'm going to live off of 6 hours of sleep, but it was definitely worth seeing the Spirit of God move in our midst...so many were healed before our eyes, and the Presence of God was so real. There, I wrote more than I wanted to! Have a blessed day in the Lord!
Hi Terry -- We are headed for the Mother Land, will leave Newark tonight and be there (Glasgow) in the morning. Thanks for checking on Karen, Adi, and Amber.
I commented on your previou post instead of this one..but I have to say, you look JUST LIKE YOUR MOM. I have always been told I look just like my dad, and all of us children look just like eachother. We aren't all identical in my opinion, but that's what they say... From, the little Pilgrim Pal, Hebrews 11:1
Dear Hebrews 11:1..little pilgrim pal, I am so glad that you checked "The Good Reporter's" site. You are right...It is excellent. Just imagine if it makes an oldster like me happy to meet young people like you and the good Reporters, [Joshua and Caleb] and Lauren-Mary and Noel Lewis walking in the truth, how must the Lord be feeling joyful about it!
3 John 1:4..."I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."
Keep up the good work Hebrews 11:1 You may be anonymous to the blogging world but you are certainly not anon to the Lord!....From Mrs Terry S.
What a sweet tribute to Mom. The two of you have the same gentle features - beautiful faces. What a special daughter she has in you, she is blessed to call you her own. I hope she had a wonderful Mothers day and that Dad is continuing to improve with his health! Blessings!
Terry, I think this is my very favorite post you've done so far! I just LOVE that you put your momma's picture in the paper like that! I did that for my dad one year, but haven't for my mom. I bet she just loved it! A Happy belated Mother's Day to your momma. I was blessed to have my mom get to stay with us through Mother's day...and Ty and Ryan got me a nice card and a little bag of chocolates! I had a wonderful Mother's Day too! Love from us!!
I grew up in a family of nine children and each week my mother didn't just send us to Sunday School, she came with us.
We heard the gospel week after week from the year 1956 but were not saved until 1967.
The summer of 1967 my mother,my sister, Betty and I were all gloriously saved.
From that year until now several of my brothers and sisters were saved, but my dad still remains on the outside.
It has been our prayer that he will be saved soon and then the family circle will be unbroken and we will all be on our way to heaven where we will meet the Lord and see our brother, David who has gone on before.
