Where Did You Get That Sylish Hat?

Last Sunday morning when I picked my mother up for Morning Meeting and Sunday School, I was prepared with camera in hand as she came out the door. My dad had told me ahead of time that she would be wearing her new hat and "She just looked really good in it!", he told me. "Please take her picture!"

Of course, I gladly obliged...

The first two pictures here were taken in the morning and I must say that my litttle mother looked just spiffy!

She was so pleased with the hat that she refused to take it off that evening as we went to Macdonald's for a coffee.. A coffee?? Not my mom!!
There she sat looking pretty as a picture, eating a butterscotch sundae!!

Oh the Queen of England should be so fortunate!

Your mother is so sweet ine her hat. My daughter loves to wear hats and she looks good in them too. I've tried but don't look so well in them. Britt found two on clearance the other day. Between hats an flipflops her closet is full. :-) She and her brother are in a race. He collecting ties and her flipflops. I think it's 40-30something at the present. He's in the lead. :-)
Have a great day!

Hello from BC! What an endearing post. The pictures remind me of Jan Karon's children's book "Miss Fanny's Hat".
