More Of What Grandpaw Ron Said

Hebrews 11:1 and passing-thru thanks for your comments , but I would like to add something .
When I was very young and kinda poor but rich in family love I was taught to be blessed with what I recieved in life ! I was taught to want what was mine but to always give back what was not mine ? When my kids mom and I raised our children around the house, my kids, my wife and I could lay money , the kids could set a bag of candy - or whatever was yours on the fireplace mantle or bedroom dresser and if it laid there 3 weeks , when you went back to get it , it was always there ! This is not wrote to condemn anyone but there is not enough taught to respect what belongs to others ?
I thank God everyday because my kids are living that every day in their lives !
I know that I'm a truly Blessed man !

Blessings to you all.
Ps - I didn't mean to ramble to long !
Ron.

Dear Terry,
I see Passing-thru Bob is mentioned here. How I still love that man. He was so wonderfully there for me when I needed it. He will always have a place in my heart and in my prayers. If I only could make him understand how much it meant when he highlighted our names in different colours as he was praying for us.
He made me feel so special, and also reminded me that we are individually, particularly loved by our Lord.
My grandfather Christian, who had nine children used to say that his family was his greatest wealth.
Wasn't that a great way of seeing things. From Montana, where he worked as a shepherd during the great depression, he carefully followed each and everyone across the sea. From the stories I've heard he at times was pretty hard in his letters when commenting acts of his children I now see, he had to be that. How awfully weak and far away he must have felt. Writing letters in those days was the only way of contributing to the raising of his children.
From my childhood the summer meetings on his farm with children, in laws and grandchildren swirling around all over the place<, those belong to my most precious memories. I guess in my way I was part of his wealth too.
Yours Felisol

Like Felisol, I adored my grandfather also. He could cuss like the sailors and didn't go to church because it was too long for him to sit 'because of his back.'

Grandpa chewed tobaco and was somewhat a rebel. Us kids ducked when he spit because that was a game with him. He had nine.

I think I was his favorite grandchild. We use to go for rides together when he would travel to farms who had contracted with him for stud service with their horses. I remember his truck, it was a 1941 Ford three quarter ton.

My cousin Bud in colorado and I are the most like my grandfather. We have beards, have used tobaco, and did a lot of things differently than the rest.

I wonder what Grandpa Ron was like before he became a Christian?
