Oh, Terry how this ministered to me this morning. I haven't felt well these past 2 days and did not go to Church this morning. This touched my soul...I haven't heard it for a long, long time and it is beautiful!

Dear Terry,
this song caught me in just a mood of being "Kind of homesick".
I've never heard it before, so I looked it up in Wikipedia.
It is amazing that about 150 years ago a man felt just the way I do, and wrote this lasting song.
Thank you for sharing.

Dear Trish and Felisol.
I was feeling the same way and I listened to almost every version they had of it on You Tube for about an hour.
I couldn't go to church today either because of my cold, so I am glad that I could listen to this beautiful hymn.
I love it so much.
It is one of Mom Golden's most favourite songs from the Gaither and friends.
As I listened to this song, I thought of Arlene so much.
Who could have really known what an impression she would make on all of the lives that she touched!

Dear Terry,
chicken soup and garlic, or with garlic will chase the germs away.
I think you may have worked too hard lately always trying to help out your parents, your church, young and old and even your blog-sisters such as myself, can always depend on your help and prayers.
Terry dear, give yourself some sick leave.
Those news about your heart weren't good either.
It takes time to digest all that.
On the positive side; people respect a troubled heart.
Let the younger and healthier take their turn.
Just tell you are on sick leave.
Hugs from Felisol

PS
Forgot the Psalm.
37:
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:

6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

Gee, Terry, I know I read your Ruby Tuesday post a couple of days ago and I think I left a comment but maybe not... I wanted to say I hope you're feeling better and that I love meeting all your church friends and family. They are all sweet, good-looking people! :)
