Spring Singing In My Beloved Manitoba

I have just met a new blog friend and I have taken the liberty of copying part of one of her most wonderful posts.

You must visit Deb's blog. It is so encouraging and oh so good!
And my!
Gazing at her beautiful flowers and listening to the singing of the Manitoba birds will surely cheer your heart

Here are some of Deborah's words....

This is the surrendered life that I long to live, not just in the storms of life, but each and every day of my life. In any circumstance I can go to that quiet place of prayer, and draw near to my Lord, and wait upon him for the strength and guidance to meet any challenge. Sometimes I just need to stop and be silent before my Lord…...and wait.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 41:1 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near to judgment.

Dear Terry,
I've just come home from a lovely visit at Deborah's site.
Inspiration flowing..
I can well imagine you longing "home"
to the landscape of Manitoba.
Hope you are thriving and enjoying the precious moments of spring in your part of Canada as well.
I really must take time to go to Google Earth to look all those places in huge Canada up.
All my best to all of you from
Felisol

Wow Terry! Can you teach me how to do that?...I'm very new to blogging and am learning new things every day...but still don't know how to put words on a picture like that...and how did you get me on there!! LOL
I'm so glad you are enjoying both of my blogs. I look forward to getting to know you!
And welcome to all those you have sent down my garden path!

Thanks, Terry. I checked out your/our new blogging friend, she has a nice blog. I think her devotional book will be nice too.
Hope you're doing OK, I may not be keeping up very good.
Did you know Adi had more surgery. It was to remove a tumor, benign, on her right paw. She wrote a blog, 'about my operation.'

I just wanted to say hi...I'm Deborah's sister Victoria. I'm the only one of the siblings now living out of Manitoba...actually quite close to you, in Niagara Falls. I'm loving these blogs and so glad Deb is so "in to it"!! It's a way for me to stay connected to her and home. Many blessings to you!

Dear Victoria...When I think of the many years that my sister, Betty tried to persuade us to get a computer and how stubborn we were...hmmm..what a waste that we didn't get one sooner!
When we did get a computer and then a year later I discovered the blogger world, I was just so thankful!
I am glad that your sister came on to my site.
Bernie just loves the singing of the birds on her blog!
I guess you are the closest to me of all the bloggers. My Felisol is on the far side of the Sea in Norway and our Indian Princess Amrita is in Indian but it is so marvellous that miles do not make a difference and we can all be friends, eh?
Thanks for stopping by Victoria...Love Terry

I forgot. I guess my sister Gracey is the closest. I created a blog for her but the poor girl has to work so much that she hardily has the time to go on it.
She works at Everyday Bible Publishers in Port Colborne where they are always packing the Christian books into boxes to send to the missionary countries.
She also teaches piano, so she lives a busy life!.

PS Jim is a Texan boy and he has a really good blog too! He doesn't do too bad for a man who is over one hundred years old! Ha!
