When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
Save in the death of Christ my God!
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down!
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

I love that song. We used to sing it in church when we had more English speakers in our congregation. It is sung in many of our churches.

Please pray for the safety of Christians in Orissa. The enemy is planning to attack churches on Easter Sunday. I have posted a prayer request on my blog.

Dearest Mrs. Shirkie,

May the Lord bless your Sunday as you celebrate His Resurrection.

That was a very cordial answer to my comment, by the way. I really appreciate it...I never know if someone will take what I say the wrong way, but sometimes I can't help but say it. That being said, I'm not celebrating tomorrow specially, but remembering His death and Reurrection every day. Is that a good way to put it? :)

Have y'all gotten any winning Tim Hortons cups? I am getting back into the habit of checking Paul Mackay's blog (it really brightens my dad, because he always makes me laugh!), and there is a discussion on Tim Hortons coffee cups there. You're good friend in NY won one, too! My siblinsg have won total of 5 coffees and 2 doughnuts!!! And they haven't bought one either, they just find them lying around!

Love and Prayers,
LPP
