when dad golden got up this morning,and opened up his paper, he was unwrapping the gift that bernie and i give to him every year...his birthday greetings in the daily newspaper...here in the picture is betty, his oldest child.

for this birthday dad golden saw everyone of his children save one for the occasion..teddy and lois came all the way from iowa and they were here! sandra and gail came from new market yesterday with four of his grandchildren and it was one busy sunday for him! betty and john with their children were part of the crowd and gary, bernie and i caused a little commotion for him!..oh and gracie was there too!...alas though, the baby of the family, karen was missing... i had thought that i will just put in some pictures of dad's life and show him this post tomorrow
