***Happy Holidays To Precious Friends***

Jesus, my Savior, to Bethlehem came,
Laid in a manger to sorrow and shame.
O it was wonderful, blest be His name,
Seeking for me, for me.
Seeking for me, for me,
Seeking for me, for me;
O it was wonderful, blest be His name,
Seeking for me, for me.

Jesus, my Savior on Calvary's tree,
Paid the great debt, and my soul He set free.
O it was wonderful-how could it be?
Dying for me, for me.
Dying for me, for me,
Dying for me, foe me;
O it was wonderful-how could it be?
Dying for me, for me!

Jesus, my Savior, the same as of old,
While I was wandering far from the fold,
Gently and long did He plead with my soul,
Calling for me, for me.
Calling for me, for me,
Calling for me, for me;
Gently and long did He plead with my soul,
Calling for me, for me!

Jesus, my Savior, shall come from on high.
Sweet is the promise as weary years fly,
O I shall see Him descend from the sky,
Coming for me, for me.
Coming for me, for me,
Coming for me, for me;
O I shall see Him descend from the sky,
Coming for me, for me!

Oh! The Coldness Of It All!...For Amelia

It does seem that the only signs of an "almost winter" at the palace are the frozen fingers of ice that are clutching at the roots of the trees lining the Lake Ontario shoreline.

Large pieces of ice dangle like silver earrings on the branches of the trees making them indeed a pretty sight.

Pretty? Yes, but oh so chilling!

Even the surrounding rocks that are hugging the trees for warmth are frozen! SOLID!

As is the very ground!

There is just no escaping the strong clasp of the frozen water as it makes it way up this tree's trunk.

The warm rays of the day's sun nor even the latter sunset's warm caress had no power on the relentless ice.

The kindly sun really tried its hardest as it licked the icicles growing in the water, turning them a bright pink, but to no avail.

No!To be frozen until spring were the trees' destiny!
Maybe Mrs. Mac's wishes for a warm blanket of white fluffy snow to cover these shivering creatures will come true!

In the meantime though, I will have to give these pictures to dRaGoNfY WiNgS to gaze at, as she is feeling the heat too much in her own country and says she needs even just a little sight of Canadian winter to cool her off!
