I enjoyed this song so much, it is so refreshing to find someone who loves Southern Gospel singing as we do.
I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but I have been off line this week, due to all of the work here on the farm. We are having a drought and the extreme weather keeps us busy trying to keep our vegetables alive. I have also been busy canning potatoes. I read your new blog and just loved it so much, I think recording family history is a lost art, and it is so refreshing to see you writing it down. Thank you for visiting me and for all of your sweet words of encouragement. I like blogging so much more than Facebook, because it seems so much more personal. As always a joy to visit with you. Hugs, Sue
This morning I was listen to the song, When the storms of life a raging Stand By Me, and I thought this is on my favourite list and Terry would like it too.
yeh jadi gigi...i have been encouraged by connie and amrita and my felisol when i look at their family blogs and so i thought i would jump in and try to do one!..it is called what else? but "the golden family"!...ha,eh?.love terry
I grew up in a family of nine children and each week my mother didn't just send us to Sunday School, she came with us.
We heard the gospel week after week from the year 1956 but were not saved until 1967.
The summer of 1967 my mother,my sister, Betty and I were all gloriously saved.
From that year until now several of my brothers and sisters were saved, but my dad still remains on the outside.
It has been our prayer that he will be saved soon and then the family circle will be unbroken and we will all be on our way to heaven where we will meet the Lord and see our brother, David who has gone on before.
