today it is felisol's dear mom's birthday.
while bernie worked on the lawn, trimming trees, i have spent a couple of hours over at felisol's, shopping for the best pictures to create a couple of cards for mom ljung..two hours that i have thoroughly enjoyed...

i came upon this photo of felisol and her mother and i am going to copy and paste what felisol has said about it.

now THIS picture i have swiped and posted before, but it seems that since it is mom ljung's birthday, i thought that i would put some pleasant memories in it for her.
although her beloved husband is in heaven now, he surely has left some precious treasures behind for his sweetheart...his son, kel, his daughter, felisol, his son in law, gunnar and his granddaughter, serina who is a princess.

this photo was a real find and the explanation of it from feilsol is just choice!
and so i have copied and pasted AGAIN!

"Since it's both Valentine's Day and Mother's Day Sunday 14th, I've chosen my favorite picture of my parents to share.
My dad made the shot with an old accordion camera, in fact the only camera he ever possessed. Later on he would borrow mine or my brother's to make slides from 30 years of mountain hikes.
He took this pic with self-timer, the camera placed on a stone.
The last four years of his life my father was bound to a wheelchair after a brain hemorrhage.
I made a copy of this picture, to remind the nurses who came 4 times a day, what a wonderful man who lived inside the body now so helpless.
My dad used to point at the picture and ask my mother (in English), "Do you still love me?"
My mother's answer would always be the same, "Oh, yes, I'll always love you".
